Northend Farm/Redford/Titty Hill/Alfords Farm.

.

This is a difficult walk to describe, as there are many tracks. Compass and map absolutely essential.

1. By car to Fernhurst from Haslemere, turn right at the X-road in the middle of the village. When you reach a T-junction turn left, and when you see the second road to the left, turn and find a place to park on the verge.
2. Walk back the way you came and just past Northend Farm, you will see a gate on your right with a pedestrian gate on its left. Follow the path to the left; keep straight on ignoring a track to your right, and later a track to your left. Across a field and head for a gap in the hedge, where a tanker has been parked. This leads to Linch Church.
3. Turn right down the road and take the first FP to your left, and when you reach a T-junction turn right and follow the path downhill. This leads to a road, turn left into Redford village, and just past the garage, and opposite the Post Office, turn right.
4. Basically keep straight on – there are a number of paths, but you should end up in Titty Hill. Take the road west out of Titty Hill, all other marked ways are paths or tracks, then take the second FP to the right.
5. Down to Lyford Farm, take the FP to the right of the Farm, heading north, and follow it all the way to Alfords Farm. Take the right hand path out of the Farm, and this brings you back to the road.
6. Turn left and your car should be up there on the right.
